Be Mentored – Illuminate & John Lewis Cambridge

Illuminate have a new project this Autumn to give people who are unemployed and experiencing or have experienced mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety, the chance to experience being mentored by the staff of John Lewis Cambridge.

The scheme is from September until the end of October and it’s designed to be helpful in moving mentees closer to employment and it’s to be completed within a couple of months.

It starts with the training morning on Thursday, September 12th with Maria from Illuminate and then beneficiaries will be offered 3 meetings of up to 1.5 hours with a volunteer mentor who is a member of staff at John Lewis. The mentors will have had training also from Maria at Illuminate. All mentoring meetings take place at John Lewis Cambridge.

Anyone interested will complete an application form, Maria will then call to have a chat about the scheme and answer any questions and then they will then be invited to attend the training morning.

*The training morning is a prerequisite for the scheme, this is not optional: –
