There is an opportunity to attend a leadership training delivered by the King’s Fund.
The programme has been designed to support public and patient representatives across the East of England to hone their leadership skills and gain confidence and understanding in their role as system influencers and leaders. The training is open to Citizen Senate members and non members alike.
Iliana says: “I’ve had the opportunity to attend this training in April along with 9 members of the Service User and Carer Research Group and I couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone interested in being actively involved and making a difference. Our work focuses on building constructive relationships with researchers and health care professionals in order to share knowledge that can lead to change. This training is a wonderful opportunity to join a reflective peer community and build on your personal and communication skills in a practical and supportive environment. Both Mark and Trevor have wealth of knowledge and experience in patient leadership and have been inspirational throughout the training.”
The training is scheduled for:
Day 1 – Wed October 16th, 2019
Day 2 – Wed October 30th, 2019
Day 3 – Wed November 13th, 2019
Day 4 – Wed December 11th, 2019
and it will take place at: Copley Business Park Cambridge Road, Babraham, Cambridge CB22 3GN http://www.copleyhill.co.uk.
