Police sources in London have made other forces aware that there is some green or pink tinged heroin in circulation in London. In the Boroughs of Camden and Islington 6 people have overdosed and there have been 3 fatalities. Nothing further known at this time.
Concerns as London drug dealers are known to operate in Cambridgeshire.
Please ensure that harm reduction messages are robust and shared with all drug users.
Please urge service users to share information with services and their peers, and report any concerns as soon as possible.
If they are feeling unwell and suspect they have used one or more of the substances referred to in this alert message, please call an ambulance immediately.
